Restrictions for Ads

Here are some rough drafts of the sizes and restriction that view been working on today. Just this took a lot longer than I thought but this part is very important because all the sizes need to be perfect and appropriate for each social media and unfortunately they all differ (I also had dimensions for social medias we don’t have to design for such as LinkedIn and Tumblr). As you can see its very messy because the 2 pdfs had different sizes but I eventually went with the first one Wessie uploaded to Aero because the pdfs were in more detail and they had the starts for 2020. For some reason some of the dimensions changed depending on wether its an advertisement or a post…

  • Header (Cover Video/Photo)
  • 820 x 462
  • Minimum 20 seconds

Twitter

  • Post
  • 720 x 720
  • less than 140s
  • less than 1GB
  • Must be 30fps

TikTok

  • Post
  • 9 – 15 s (recommended)
  • Less than 500mb

Google Adwords (Web banner)

  • 728 x 90 (Leaderboard)
  • 150kb or less
  • MUST BE A GIF

Pinterest

  • 1000 x 1000
  • 4s or more
  • Less than 2Gb

Instagram

  • 1080 x 1080
  • Less than 60s (first 4s must be impactful)
  • 30fps

YouTube

  • 1280 x 720
  • 10s – 20s Advert (First 5s must be impactful)
  • 30fps
  • 10mb or less file size
