Unity Exercise – Fri 22.05.20

Below are screenshot of our Friday lecture in Unity. We did more sprites and animating of the character. We learnt how to create the walk cycles with a normal sprite sheet and bones as well as with a png sequence. We also edited the timeline in UNITY, working with the built in animation feature.

We also worked on the ways to get your character to go from an idle to walking sequence to running to jumping and back to idle. It is much easier than I thought, once all the sequences are done, you literally just drag and add the connecters and unity does it for you.

We also played with Colliders and added in physics which was really cool. It’s made me a lot more confident with the creation of my game cause I’m understanding it a lot better. Its not so overwhelming anymore . I cant wait till im doing all this stuff with my own character.

These are just some notes I made during the lecture. Just some tips and tricks for when I start designing.
