I worked on my pause screen some more and I’m pretty happy with this because it suits the theme. Moving on, I completely butchered my jump cycle (and all movements actually). I tried to create a blend tree to fix my jump problem (where he repeats his cycle mid jump) and after adding in the scrips the only thing James did was jump. For some reason he’s not picking up the ground or anything (well thats what I’m thinking ). I also shot myself in the foot by making his jump cycle 40 png images. It’s unnecessary and probably should have changed it before starting it but Ive done it so I’m not gonna change it now. Hopefully I sort this jump cycle out tomorrow so that I don’t have to start over with my character movements and controls.
The last image shows me starting a new scene for the introduction and as you can see, it didn’t go too well, but I managed to fix it. Unity is NOT my friend, it seems like the only time its actually worked fine was for my health bar and that literally took 3 days to do…
Anyway, fingers crossed this turns out ok 🙂
